Adjunct Faculty - Immunology

St. Edward's University, a nationally ranked, independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach Immunology during the Fall 2024 semester (mid-August - mid-December, 2024). St. Edward's is characterized by its commitment to the Holy Cross educational mission to educate the hearts and minds of a diverse student body that is deeply committed to social justice.
Successful candidates will develop and deliver an undergraduate immunology course for junior and senior biology majors. St. Edward's University embraces excellence through diversity and especially encourages applications from women and members of underrepresented racial, ethnic, sexual, and gender minority groups. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to supporting a diverse student body.
For consideration, candidates must possess a master's degree or a minimum of 18 graduate hours in biology or a related field. A PhD in Immunology or related field is preferred.

Adjunct faculty are appointed to teach a particular course or courses on a semester basis and are not eligible for promotion, tenure, or fringe benefits. Although adjunct faculty may not be assigned courses each semester, the department maintains a list of active adjuncts who will be contacted when appropriate teaching assignments are available.

- Teaching an upper-division Immunology course for Biology majors in the Fall 2024 semester. The course meets in-person on the St. Edward's campus, from 8-8:50 AM, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
