The Disability and Neurodiversity team at the University of Surrey has a part-time vacancy for a qualified and experienced Non-Medical Helper (NMH) Mentor who can deliver Specialist Mentoring support to students on a regular one-to-one basis.

In a typical 7.2-hour day you would meet with five students, with the remaining time being used for associated administration, and attending an NMH team meeting fortnightly.

We anticipate a combination of face-to-face and remote sessions being delivered, with at least 50% of time being spent on campus.

This vacancy is for a 0.58 FTE post which is usually worked over 4 days per week during term-time. While salary is paid evenly over the year, post-holders will typically undertake the role over 32 core weeks of the year, inclusive of term-time and other periods of high demand.
