About the opportunity

The at the University of Sydney is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct in-depth research in coherent diffraction imaging.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • contribute to research publications and present findings at relevant journals and conferences,
  • participate in the preparation and submission of research grants,
  • implement the experimental setup of high harmonic generation based imaging system,
  • provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and assist in their research projects.

About you

  • a PhD (or near completion) in the relevant field of optoelectronics, physics or electrical engineering
  • demonstrated skills/knowledge/experience in coherent diffraction imaging, phase retrieval or relevant fields
  • strong hands-on experimental skills in ultrafast lasers, high harmonic generation or relevant fields
  • proficient skills in Matlab, Python, or C++
  • demonstrated contributions to publications in top tier journals and conferences
