Description

The department currently offers a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Precision Medicine.

Qualifications

A Ph.D., MD, or equivalent degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related disciplines from an accredited institution is required, along with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with education and/or prior service in distinguished institutions of higher education.

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in fundamental or applied research, possess an established research track record, and have a strong publication history in top-tier journals. The applicant should have experience in writing competitive grants and attracting external research funding. A strong commitment to teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels is also required.

Employment terms:

University offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. About the position

The Senior Student Advisor acts in a dual function, taking a team leadership role while also providing student advisory support for targeted student cohorts. Brief outline of the project:

Gastronomy has been a fundamental element in regard to the cultural development of mankind because it represents society’s lifestyles associated with foods in a region. Food plays the role of a cultural reference point that contains entirely unique information about the local culture and geography of a destination as well as origin. Therefore, it has been proven that gastronomy can uplift the creative tourism development of a destination (Pearson & Pearson, 2017). Numerous studies have stressed gastronomy in the context of food tourism, culinary tourism, and gastronomy tourism, and have mainly investigated tourists’ behaviors, preferences, and interests regarding unique food experiences at various destinations. This research looks into both the supply and demand perspective of gastronomic tourism.
