UBT is a higher education institution in education, quality, innovation and technology in Kosovo.
The university¡¯s main campus is located in Prishtina, the capital of Kosovo. Prishtina is situated in the northeastern part of the country near the Gollak Mountains. The majority of Prishtina¡¯s population speak Albanian.
The university also has five other campuses spread across the Prishtina District. These include Lipjan, Prizren, Gjilan, Ferizaj, and Peja.
The university¡¯s Innovation Campus is the largest of its kind in Kosovo with more than 40 state of the art laboratories. It is also home to the largest library in Kosovo and is the only Kosovar member of the World Innovation Parks Association.
The university is organised into nine academic institutes: entrepreneurship management and engineering, research innovation and entrepreneurship, development of education and academic affairs, foreign languages and intercultural skills, politics and international relations, life sciences and innovation, law and justice, and media and communication. Each institute offers a range of both undergraduate and graduate courses.
The university has set up 10 research centres to facilitate scientific research including the Information Systems and Cyber Security Research Centre, the Health Sciences Research Centre and the Centre for Global and European Studies.
