The University of Sistan and Baluchestan is an Iranian public university which was founded in 1974.

The main campus is in Zahedan in the Sistan and Baluchestan province in Iran. It is the second largest university in the country and is the largest university within the province. It has two additional campuses in Iranshahr and Chabahar.

With a large international cohort, it promotes a connected and student-oriented atmosphere to ensure everyone is welcome. The University of Sistan and Baluchestan is one of the top institutions in Iran for scientific and theoretical developments.

When looking at the courses available, there is a wide range of topics. Students are also able to be flexible with the modules that they study and the length of study. There are 13 faculties including chemical engineering; administration and accounting; agriculture and natural resources; economics; electrical and computer engineering; engineering; arts and architecture; geography and environmental planning; literature and humanities; mathematics; physical education; science; theology and psychology and educational science.

The campus is home to a health centre, dormitories, restaurants, sports facilities and libraries. The dormitories are well-equipped with a shop, exercise equipment, chess tables and a seating area.

Extracurricular opportunities include academic groups, sports, cultural gatherings and a student theatre team. If you are interested in sports then you will have the choice of football, tennis, track and field, and volleyball, just to name a few.

The libraries hold the largest academic collection in Iran¡¯s East, with this being a mixture of physical and electronic resources.
