Guru and Goldsmiths 1

I would like to thank The Times Higher for a well-written piece on Goldsmiths, University of London's investigations into the links between self-styled therapy guru, Derek Gale, and Windy Dryden ("Professor's links to 'guru' probed", February 2). It was (for legal reasons) able only to skim the surface of the issue.

If, as Mr Gale asserts, the complaints about his practices are "incorrect" and he is the subject of a vendetta, why does he not present his case to the Association for Humanistic Psychology Practitioners complaints procedure? That way Dryden and Goldsmiths can be assured that there is no conflict of interest in their relationship. Otherwise, they too may be tainted with suspicion.
