Your report on a possible "reinvestigation" of Geoffrey Sampson's views on race and IQ seems not to take on board the consequences of his view that Asians are, on average, more intelligent than whites.J This must entail that, in this country and our universities, the majority (probably about 90 per cent) of those who are offended by his views on raceJas it applies to themselves (and that constraint is crucial)Jmust be white.
Does it not suggest something slightly intellectually odd? The image of Sampson giving all his attention and favouritism to the handful of Chinese students in his class is so ludicrous that to entertain it is to dismiss it.
