ANTHONY CARO The Whitworth Art Gallery is hosting the first retrospective of Sir Anthony Caro's table sculpture in celebration of his 70th birthday. The exhibition traces the exploration, by one of the great innovators and inventors of 20th century sculpture, of the table theme over the past 30 years. December 8 to February 4. ELECTRODE REACTIONS Dieter Kolb, professor at the University of Ulm, will lecture on "The Study of Electrode Reactions with Atomic Scale Resolution" at Leicester University on November 16 at 3pm. THE BURNING BUSH Lucie Skeaping's "The Burning Bush" will be performed on November 22 at 8pm at the Turner Sims Concert Hall (music of the ghettos of Eastern Europe, Oriental and Moorish sounds of the Mediterranean and comic songs of the Yiddish Theatre -- with a variety of instruments to reflect broad geographic roots).
