IMAGES OF CONFLICT
Work by recent war artists will be exhibited at the Peter Scott Gallery, Lancaster University, from October 10 to December 13. The exhibition offers a selection of contemporary art on loan from the Imperial War Museum, including John Keane's Gulf War paintings and featuring the work of Jock McFadyen, Terry Atkinson, Richard Davies, Deanna Petherbridge and Michael Sandle. TWO FACES OF EMIL KRAEPELIN The 14th Edward Mapother Lecture will be given by Michael Shepher, emeritus professor of epidemiological psychiatry (University of London), on "The Two Faces of Emil Kraepelin" at 5.30pm on November 9 in the Wolfson lecture theatre, Institute of Psychiatry, De Crespigny Park, London SE5.
