The 2019 Times Higher Education Awards are now open for entries.
By incorporating elements from our THE Leadership and Management Awards, this year’s THE Awards will honour UK universities across a broader range of activity than ever before, in one single event.
Among the 23 categories, some will be familiar, others have been merged and refocused, and there is also a new category to recognise the Outstanding Technician of the Year –?a chance for individuals in this significant section of the UK higher education workforce to receive much-deserved credit.
THE’s editor John Gill said: “For more than a decade, the THE Awards have held a place at the heart of UK higher education, celebrating the extraordinary successes of our universities and all who work in them.
“This year, the ‘Oscars of Higher Education’ is getting even bigger and better, bringing together all aspects of university activity, including academic, pastoral, administrative and leadership success stories.
“As we open for entries across an updated and expanded set of categories this week, we’d be thrilled to receive your entries and hear about your triumphs – whether as individuals, teams or institutions.
“We look forward to celebrating them with you at the UK’s original, biggest and best higher education awards ceremony later this year.”
The entry window closes on 5?June, and our shortlist will be published on 5?September.
This year’s awards ceremony will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 28?November. It will also serve as the celebratory finale of our two-day THE Live event, taking place at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel.
