The wildly popular director of research councils, Sir John Cadogan, is said to be hopping mad at journalists continually writing what he regards as negative stories about the work by the Office of Science and Technology.
The implication being that reporters are ignoring all the positive, exciting policies that are oozing out of the OST for the benefit of all in the science community. Like handing out millions of pounds in the shape of the Realising Our Potential awards to people dubbed second rate by assessment panels. Surely not Ropas for no-hopers eh?
