The Royal Society invites applications from UK and Taiwanese postdoctoral scientists for bilateral research projects. The aim is to encourage and support scientific research collaboration in the natural and applied sciences between research groups, in the UK and in Taiwan. Grants are intended to cover international travel and subsistence for short term visits by the UK group to Taiwan and by the Taiwan group to the UK, over a two-year period.
Joint projects are for research in the natural sciences including mathematics, engineering, medicine and the scientific research aspects of agriculture, archaeology, geography, psychology and the history of science. Awards do not cover the social sciences or clinical medical research. Forms available online.
