WOMEN ARTISTS Despite the growth in the number of publications addressing gender issues in the visual arts, little seems to have been written about women artists and art historians working in higher education in the United Kingdom. Suzanne Judd's MPhil/PhD study aims to bridge the gap in research by examining the experiences of women working in fine art and art history departments. She is inviting women working in these areas to participate in a national survey. If you would like to contribute to this study please contact: Suzanne Judd, 8 Waverley Road, Gloucester, GL2 0SZ, tel, 0452 520211 or via the faculty of arts and education, Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education.
