(Photograph) - Sister act: A celebration of women being played out at Bolton Institute of Higher Education last week as part of a voyage of creative discovery for six female access students. The piece of devised theatre is part of a women returners programme intended to break down barriers to higher education. The course has been so successful that all the women are now planning to go on to higher level study. The work is part of the institute's City Challenge Project to raise awareness of higher education and Bolton Institute is now investigating formal accreditation for the programme.
