Study in Australia

Australia has long been an extremely desirable location for students looking to study abroad. As well as being a popular holiday destination for millions of tourists, Australia also has a huge amount to offer prospective students academically, culturally and socially.

Australia boasts a remarkable mix of cultures. From the indigenous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations, via the British and Irish influences, to the more recent arrivals from Europe and Asia, Australia has a diverse and welcoming society. The country also plays host to some of the most recognisable landmarks in the world, such as the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, and many famous world figures ranging from actors like Chris Hemsworth and Cate Blanchett to athletes such as cricketer Shane Watson.

Covering an area comparable in size to the United States, Australia also offers its fair share of natural landmarks like the Great Barrier Reef and Bondi Beach. It’s not just in sights and sounds that Australia excels either, being home as it is to some of the finest universities and research institutions in the world. These include the University of Melbourne and the University of Sydney. These institutions have a long tradition of accepting international students, and as such offer a huge array of academic opportunities for prospective undergraduates and postgraduates.
