The Islamia College Peshawar was founded in 1913 by The Sir Sayyed of the Frontier, and has since become the mother institution of three universities and several colleges on its campus. Spread across 300 acres, the college is located in Peshawar, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area of Pakistan.

There are five faculties at the college which include: arts and languages, basic and social sciences, religious and legal studies, natural sciences, and technologies and engineering sciences.

Students regularly participate in inter-collegiate sporting championships. Sports offerings include cricket, football, cross country, hockey, lawn tennis and more. The Khyber Union Hall is the hub of student activities on campus, built in 1942, and is responsible for managing the university¡¯s societies such as Islamic culture, law, character building, adventure and hiking, drama, creative art and more.
