It can be a stressful time for those who don¡¯t quite get the A-level results that they were hoping for, so we asked our Twitter followers to offer students who are about to go through the clearing process their top tip, using the hashtag #

Remember, say Kalwant Bhopal and Elisia Green, it is not all about the course. You¡¯re probably going to be spending at least three years at your new university, so do a bit of research on the location.
Hywel Davies, however, emphasised the importance of studying the course you want to (even if it means ditching the university that you originally had in mind).
