被誉为“高等教育界奥斯卡奖”的泰晤士高等教育大奖（Times Higher Education Awards）已经公布了2020年的入围名单。
超过80所高校入围20个类别的候选名单，以全面表彰大学的各项活动。
由于新冠疫情，今年的最终获奖者将于今年11月26日举行的线上活动上公布。
邓迪大学以5项入围名列前茅，而德蒙福特大学、边山大学、纽卡斯尔大学以及埃克塞特大学分别入围4个奖项。
边山大学与格拉斯哥大学、伍斯特大学、基尔大学、斯泰福厦大学以及开放大学一同入围了备受瞩目的“年度大学奖”。
泰晤士高等教育杂志编辑约翰·吉尔（John Gill）表示，尽管今年的奖项“与往年有所不同，因为我们无法欢聚一堂，但其目的没有改变，那就是突出并表彰在我们的大学中闪耀的那些最优秀的人才和创意。”
吉尔先生说：“2020年比以往任何时候都更需要认可和赞扬这些成就；而让我们感到欣慰的是，即便大学工作人员目前时间紧张，我们依然收到大量申请。这份入围名单上充满的是在这个动荡时期内依然在追逐更大成就的英国高等教育的品质。”
泰晤士高等教育大奖的获奖者将在11月26日下午5点至6点举行的颁奖典礼上宣布，当天还将举行THE LIVE大会。如果您想参与该活动，请单击此处。
