Case of costs

It would be strange if, as Steven Schwartz claims (Letters, April 15), the Employment Appeal Tribunal had awarded costs to Brunel University in the Gurdish Webster case, since it found in favour of Webster. Perhaps he means the Court of Appeal? So, as you reported, the employment tribunals did not award costs to Brunel in the two race cases supported by the Association of University Teachers.
