Catch the tube

We were delighted that our "Test Tube" knowledge transfer project caught your attention last week. We are, though, slightly concerned that the film you chose to highlight - capturing David Scott's reaction to a grant rejection - could have made your readers feel only gloom, despair or shared resentment ("Log on to share pain of rejection", 8 May).

Might I suggest that they look at and cheer themselves up with Martyn Poliakoff and his "wiggly giggly" and "Hello Einstein" films, or try to identify the gifted research biologist whose appearance prompted interesting proposals from women as far afield as New Zealand and Panama?
