The article "Childcare costs eat deeply into pay packet" (July 7) mentioned the salary sacrifice scheme designed to help meet the costs of childcare. Unfortunately, I work for a Catholic college that, while it purports to value each and every child, sees fit not to operate the scheme.
There is little pointin government legislation designed to support a work-life balance if participation in the scheme is dependent on the whims of a finance director.
