It is a shame that The Times Higher's "most accurate overall measure" of the feedback provided by students excluded a number of small and specialist institutions ("Redbricks get thumbs down", September 23). Both the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music performed well in this survey.JThe RAM came in first place jointly with the Open University for overall student satisfaction and CDD was a close joint third with St Mary's College. If the temptation to produce league tables is too great to resist, the least The Times Higher could do is to make them accurate.
