Faith is no foe of freethinking 2

Whether or not an institution can guide its staff to maintain the collective ethos that it agrees, it is a very cheap shot to go from Canterbury Christ Church to Brigham Young University. BYU is clearly acknowledged as an unusual outrider in a nation that permits and allows to flourish faith-based universities alongside institutions that are non-denominational or secular. If we are to look to the US for examples, we need to be much more multidimensional about doing so rather than picking on the extremes - be that for faith requirements or wealth or size.
