I was dismayed to learn that People and Planet had given Times Higher Education incorrect data for the recently published Green League table ("How green is my tally?", 18 June).
As a result, my institution was shown languishing 19 places below its true position. I assume others were similarly misrepresented.
From the outset, I have thought that the Green League table, while well-intentioned, was a somewhat facile concept that trivialised the very serious work undertaken across the sector to improve sustainability. This debacle shows just how large a pinch of salt is required.
