David Cesarani warns that Muslims could be facing the same threats Jews did here. In the light of experience, the lesson seems to be that any action the authorities take should avoid harming the peaceful majority.
Islam does not permit its followers to harm others. Therefore, persons involved in terrorism are not Muslims - they are just terrorists.
Terrorists have to be pinpointed and dealt with. But this cannot be achieved by targeting a whole community. If that were the case, terrorists would survive while innocents suffered.
