The juxtaposition of an alarming prediction that "physicists might produce a tiny bubble that expands at nearly the speed of light, destroying first Earth, then the solar system, then all the stars in our galaxy and so on" (Features, THES , October 4) with a box insert to the effect that advertisements for research jobs are to be found on page 46 was entirely coincidental, I presume.
