Tony Greenstein's letter is evidence of the way people adhere religiously to one narrative without doing further research (Letters, April ).
In addition to reading work by Ilan Pappe, Greenstein might also read work by Benny Morris, who gives a mix of reasons for Palestinian refugeedom. He also states that my criticism of Pappe is unwarranted but fails to explain why. What is unwarranted and invidious is his implied equation of Israel with Nazi Germany.
