Letter: Luton in Oman

Your article "Luton lacks contracts" (Whistleblowers, THES , September 14) is misleading. It cites outdated internal correspondence and presents a narrow picture of our contract with the College of Administrative Sciences in Oman. The contract was under negotiation at the time. The university is satisfied that the agreement complies with relevant regulatory guidelines.

Indeed, the Quality Assurance Agency, in a draft audit report, has commended Luton for the care and management it applies to its overseas collaborations.
