Letter: Spanish collaboration

Staffordshire University does not accept that the Quality Assurance Agency audit report of its collaborative provision in Spain contains "damaging criticism" ("UK tainted by the stains in Spain", THES, January 12). Indeed, the report notes our high level of commitment to liaison with the partner college and concludes that we not only have clear procedures for the quality assurance of collaborative provision but have managed this particular relationship in accordance with them.
