Are we reaching the stage at which it will be impossible for a man to criticise a well-known woman without being accused of sexism ("Baroness hits back at laureate's broadside", THES , October 31)?

There is nothing chauvinist in Philip Anderson's review of Baroness Greenfield's book Tomorrow's People . He concentrates on the science. As a scientist, Greenfield should know that the whole issue is discredited if accusations are without real evidence.
