¡°The week in higher education¡± (13?March) notes that two Oxford pro vice-chancellors rebutted Luke Johnson¡¯s claims ¡°that the university had been slow to adapt to the world of online learning¡± by referring to the university¡¯s 1.4?million Facebook and Twitter followers. The Swedish death metal band In?Flames has 135,000 Twitter followers and is ¡°liked¡± by 1,176,076 people, as opposed to the 1,392,394 who ¡°like¡± the University of Oxford. I think the evidence supports Johnson¡¯s hypothesis.
