Your notice in the Campus round-up ("Media monument", 16 July) is headed "Salford/Cambridge/Goldsmiths/Lancaster" and refers to the consortium that has won funding to develop media research and innovation at MediaCity. Fine. But you say that MediaCity is in Manchester. The BBC has been meticulous in referring to its partial relocation to Salford - can't Times Higher Education be equally clued-up?
Salford and Manchester are separate cities. The University of Salford is heading the consortium. The University of Manchester is not even mentioned.
