As a typical mature student, I would like to make some observations on part-time study.
First, if one opts to pay fees incrementally, interest adds substantially to the cost. Second, the university sector must be about the only publicly funded resource that does not offer a concession to the pensioner. Third, there is wide variation in costs. And finally, the fees for a graduate-entry course such as law precludes some, like myself, who have already paid for a bachelors and two masters degrees.
