To portray opponents of Cambridge's primate laboratory as terrorists is a grotesque misrepresentation of the truth. The public inquiry rejected the proposal because the university failed to show that the experiments would benefit people. Many scientists opposed the lab for medical reasons, but the media prefer to censor their rational dissenting voices in favour of a sexier story. Never mind that the campaign was peaceful.
