I am not polyamorist, or gay or bisexual, and I cannot imagine being persuaded to sleep with someone of the same sex. But I am surprised at Peter Leapman's response to Meg Barker (Letters, January 21), and amazed at the power he thinks she is capable of exerting over female students to the extent that they would sleep with either sex in emulation.
