Dear Everybody

Just a brief note to let you know that I have arrived in Scarborough for my five-day Assertiveness Training Course. The weather has been lovely so far and we've been walking along the cliffs, paddling through the rock pools and relaxing in the evenings with a cool beer.

Thanks for your telephone messages and emails. I'm sorry so many of you forgot to send out essential references to past students and failed to let your various supervisees know that you would be away on the dates that you'd arranged to see them. I was also concerned that so many of you had failed to tell me about the days that you would not be available to teach next term.

On arrival in Scarborough, I was only too anxious to get back to the department as soon as possible so that I could sort out all these matters in a way that would meet with your approval. But after attending this course for two days, I've developed a mild change in attitude towards correcting errors that were not of my making.

GET STUFFED THE LOT OF YOU

Yours sincerely
Maureen
