DANCE OF MIDDLE WORLD

WORKPLACE HARASSMENT

A practical training course, "Dealing with Workplace Harassment and Bullying", will be held in London on November 21/22 for personnel professionals, advisers, counsellors and trade unionists to develop and implement fair, effective policies both informally and formally. STATISTICS CONFERENCE

The Statistics Users' Council has organised a conference on education statistics to take place at the Royal Society on November 22 at 6 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1. SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

The 1996 Sustainable Tourism Conference on April 18 and 19 1996 will address the themes of ethics, economics and concern for the environment. It will explore such questions as: whether the growth of tourism will reach limits imposed by its environmental and cultural impact; whether it can be managed so as to enrich the lives of visitor and host; whether the emphasis on environmental impact is justified or whether social and cultural effects should take precedence.
