Eric Ash, director of the Student Loans Company and former rector of Imperial College; Hon-Kwan Cheng, government of Hong Kong structural engineer and pioneer of open university and distance learning in Hong Kong; John MacArthur, founder of MacArthur and Company, governor of Imperial College; Antoni Oppenheim, emeritus professor, senior scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, University of California; Ken Weale, former reader in high pressure technology and long-serving member of Imperial College's governing body.

UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON

The Ramsay Trustees have awarded Memorial Fellowships for 1995/97 to: Gregory Scholes, co-sponsored with the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council to carry out research at Imperial College; Darren Hamilton, co-sponsored with the Defence Research Agency, to carry out research at Cranfield University.
