ROYAL ACADEMY OF ENGINEERING. John McCanny, professor of microelectronic engineering at Queen's University of Belfast, has been elected a fellow of engineering. He has also been elected senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Inc, United States.
