With its 23 corporate affiliates the institute is spending Pounds 100,000 to develop an interactive CD-Rom which will prepare science students and newly employed graduates for the realities of business life, and coach them in the skills they require. The section on "budgeting and internal competitive bidding for finance" will probably be equally valuable for those who decide to remain in academic life.
