A workshop on advanced manufacturing technologies for the automotive industry is taking place on 13 and 14 May in London, Canada.
In today's knowledge-based economy, innovation is crucial in the development of new products and production technologies. The workshop's main goal is to provide a forum for technology providers, manufacturing executives, strategic planners and decision makers to share innovative strategies relevant to manufacturing technologies for the automotive industry.
In particular the event will focus on the following themes: supply chain management; emerging manufacturing processes and technologies; product development strategies; new vehicle concepts; enterprise planning and control.
The event is being organised by the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) in conjunction with the London Economic Development Corporation, techalliance, and the department of foreign affairs, International Trade.
