Brussels, 30 Jan 2004
The tenth annual pharmaceuticals conference, themed 'exploring possibilities for a new era of growth', organised by The Economist, will take place on 12 February in London, UK.
The conference will seek to answer questions such as:
- What happens if there is no new blockbuster?
- Has the recent reliance on blockbusters damaged pharma?
- Is the industry structure preventing the introduction of a better business model?
The Economist's healthcare correspondent, Shereen El Feki, will provide an independent assessment of how the industry is faring, a panel of expert speakers will reveal their future strategies, and the senior audience will discuss and debate issues at the top of the pharmaceutical agenda.
