Higher and further education institutions are being targetted this week by a national campaign to improve child-care facilities for students and staff. The Association of University Teachers, Natfhe and the NUS, say that failure to improve facilities could harm recruitment as a result of the increased number of mature students and high retirements rates, which lead to more staff with children being hired.
