The results of a -month investigation into the effectiveness of videotaping children's evidence to court, allowed for the first time by the 1991 Criminal Justice Act, will be presented today by a team of Leicester University psychologists. The majority of judges polled believe the Act worked in favour of children, but defence barristers remain concerned that false allegations are going undetected.
