A conference on CO2 capture and storage - 'Towards zero emission power plants' - will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from 13 to 15 April.

The event is portrayed as an opportunity to discuss and help develop a common and coherent European strategy for research and development (R&amp;D) in the field of CO2 capture. It is aimed at communicating the subject to a wider audience, enhancing the international dimension of EU activities, disseminating project results and promoting networking.

The conference is designed to appeal to those involved in policy making, civil society, research and industry. Researchers involved in current and past EU research projects will attend, along with international delegates from countries with both developed and emerging economies.
