Enterprising Middlesex

Middlesex University won the Queen's award for enterprise this week, in recognition of its recruitment of a high number of overseas students. It boosted overseas student numbers by 43 per cent between the autumns of 1999 and 2002, with the number coming from Asia rocketing 80 per cent over the same period. Many of these students come from China and Hong Kong.
