The Canterbury Gospels, a 6th-century bible supplied by Pope Gregory the Great for St Augustine's mission to introduce Christianity to England, is one of many ancient documents on display at an exhibition celebrating Cambridge University's achievements over 800 years. The exhibition, which runs at Christie's in London until January 25, is part of the Campaign for Cambridge to raise Pounds 250 million by the year 2000.
