NatWest was not the only City of London institution inconvenienced when its tower block caught fire spectacularly last week.
London Guildhall University had chosen that day for a photoshoot on the roof of its Moorgate Building, aimed at finding a suitable image of vice chancellor Roderick Floud to put in its postgraduate prospectus.
It looks as though they'll have to do it again - a blow to collectors of unusual pictures of senior academics, who would have relished the image of Professor Floud, with smoke apparently coming out of his ears, smiling as the City burnt behind him.
