Actor and entertainer Stephen Fry, who has been somewhat elusive in recent months, is appearing at Dundee University next week to be reinstalled for a further three years as university rector. The programme for the day reveals that after tea in the City Chambers with the Lord Provost, Mr Fry will be towed to the university in a Victorian carriage pulled by students "with the occasional refreshment stop en route". One can only hope that this does not include a detour to Belgium to sample the cuisine, allegedly an attraction of his destination after he departed the West End stage.
